Background
Everyone understands the need for clear access to and from Fire, Ambulance and Police stations.
It’s also sensible to keep entrances and exits clear at bus stations and garages.
In the UK, if a junction box (with criss-cross yellow lines) is painted on a road, Vehicles MUST NOT enter the box unless their exit is clear. To secure compliance with this, local Authorities use cameras and fines known as Penalty Charge Notices ( PCNs – also called "parking tickets".) Technically they are civil, not criminal, penalties.
Philip Lane Yellow Boxes
The photo above shows the first of two yellow box junctions in Philip Lane N15, outside the Arriva Bus Garage. A note on the photo indicates another two entrances to the bus garage, where a second box was painted on the roadway. You can see them in the second photo in this series.
On 3 March 2008, my colleague, Ray Dodds (then Bruce Grove local ward councillor) was told these two boxes had been enforced from December 2005 to May 2006.
I made a Freedom of Information Request on this. On 31 March 2008, I was told: "This yellow box junction was enforced between November 2005 and March 2006". This information was false.
In a later reply to a second set of Freedom of Information Act inquiries, Cllr George Meehan, then Leader of Haringey Council, confirmed that the previous dates given to Ray Dodds were in fact correct. The box junctions were indeed enforced between December 2005 and May 2006.
Haringey officers gave Ray Dodds a figure of 3,746 PCNs in total, issued at this location. (That is, for both box junctions.) This figure was later confirmed by Cllr George Meehan.
Ray and I obtained the monthly totals of PCNs [traffic fines] issued on both boxes:
● December 2005 – 960
● January 2006 – 848
● February 2006 – 1,283
● March 2006 – 630
● April 2006 – 18
● May 2006 – 7
Why did the numbers of PCNs (fines) for these yellow box junctions halve in March 2006 and then almost stop in April and May 2006?

Sky+HD Boxes

I have two Sky+HD boxes. 
(The top one usually sits downstairs, I just bought it up for a photo. 
)
Also, you can see some slight changes between the original one and the current ones. Mainly, different logos/name, and the ring of light in the middle is a bit different.
